What Are We Thankful For?

by | Nov 10, 2024 | Our Team

This year has been an extraordinary one at Denton Hearing Health Care, and we wanted to share our gratitude in the best way we know—a blog post reflecting on the things that mean the most to us. We asked our team what they’re thankful for, and here are their responses:

“As I reflect on this year, I can truly say it’s been the best one yet! I’m incredibly grateful for my family and all the milestones we’ve celebrated, especially with my daughter. She keeps us on our toes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! Every day is a new adventure, and she fills our lives with so much laughter and joy. Being a parent has been an incredible experience.

I’m also deeply thankful for my wonderful work family, who constantly inspire me to grow as an audiologist, colleague, and leader. It feels like we’ve really hit our stride, and together, we’re providing the best care to our patients.

This year has been one of growth and excitement, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.”

Dr. Kufeldt

“I am thankful for my husband, Justin; my daughter, Summer; my family; and my health. I am grateful that I get to come into work every day to a place I love, doing what I love and helping my patients.”

Dr. Rush

“This year has been nothing but a blessing. It has been filled with love, laughter, joy, growth, unforgettable memories, new beginnings, and some big life milestones. Blake and I bought and renovated our first home, tied the knot, and are now anticipating our little boy’s arrival at the beginning of next year. During this time, we have been shown unbelievable love and support from our families and friends, which has made it all even more special.

I am grateful for my coworkers who have created a supportive and collaborative environment. Their teamwork and dedication inspire me every day. They have become people I admire not just in the workplace but in life beyond work as well. This is especially meaningful during this time of becoming a new mom, since many of them have children of their own.

The relationships I have built with my patients bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose to my work and life. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from them and grow professionally and personally. This rewarding experience is what continues to drive and motivate me every day.”

Dr. Monroe

“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the Denton community as a Hearing Aid Technician and to learn under the guidance of such amazing doctors. As a doctoral audiology student, I look up to Dr. Kufeldt, Dr. Rush, and Dr. Monroe, and I am grateful for the chance to learn from such dedicated and talented women. I also want to thank each of our patients for allowing me to establish meaningful relationships that I will forever cherish.”

Madison Lyde

“I am grateful for my loving family. For my mother, who birthed me and gave me the beautiful breath of life. My mother is a hard-working mom, a loving wife, and a strong daughter- everything I aspire to be. I am also thankful for my hard-working father, who worked countless nights to ensure that my brother and I could live our childhoods stress-free.

I am also incredibly thankful for my fiancé. We met in middle school, and we’ve remained stuck at the hip since, and I am so blessed to have met him. I am also grateful for his family, who have accepted me with open arms and treated me as their own.

This year also gave me something new to thank: my career. After joining Denton Hearing Health Care, I have become much more optimistic, energetic, and excited to get to work. I’m able to make the most out of my days, feel fulfilled, and accomplish my goal of being able to make an impact. Each patient who walks through our door gives me something new, whether it’s a task for me to accomplish or simply greeting another friendly face, and I always look forward to helping anyone who comes into our office.”
